The story
Every good love story starts with a scheduling mistake.
Dr. Joanna Pereira makes the best stage fangs in Greyhaven. When a tall stranger with a silver streak in his hair brings in an antique pair before Halloween, it’s just another appointment. Then she mails his teeth to the wrong address, and finds him asleep in her supply room. With fangs of his own.
Anton Radev came home to keep his community’s secrets safe. He didn’t plan on a dentist who asks too many questions, a black cat who adopts him on sight, or falling this fast. And when someone starts stealing from the Night Provision, Joanna’s habit of following the money leads her straight to a killer.
Overheard in the treatment room
“I like it bloody. I mean, rare, please.”
